Effective Means Of Protecting Pricey Home Equipment From Robbery

By Walliam C McCuin

I'm a multi-instrumentalist working now as part of a touring music band for a dance-punk group based out of New York City. I have no family to leave back even though my property is packed with pricey recording equipment, musical instruments as well as music memorabilia.

Since I am hardly ever in the house, I hire a caretaker full-time yet I would be hard-pressed to have confidence in any person completely other than, maybe, my mommy. Instead, I allow an iPod hidden camera DVR dock station oversee the individual I'm paying to oversee my house.

Mainly because no human watch is able to do the job thoroughly, monitoring cameras even up their shortcomings whenever monitoring activity within any given location. Disguised cameras particularly will get it done covertly and unknowingly to everyone.

The secret, I find, is in the choice of disguise. You don't place, say, an alarm clock hiding a video camera anywhere no one sleeps. It makes 100% sense for my bedroom to have a fully working iPod dock, which this nanny cam is.

Just like any docking station, this device will power up my iPod using a built-in dock connector while being an actual clock radio. On the side, it hides a small spy camera that keeps an eye on my valuable things as well as on the housekeeper.

Security cameras with a built-in DVR are especially heaven-sent, since the recording capability is incorporated into the camera. These can start recording right out out of the box without any installation necessary, the same as plug & play devices.

Video playback is definately a no-brainer that it will put my easiest audio recording devices to shame. Either I connect the camera to the television set or similar monitor via the issued RCA cable or place the SD card right into a computer with or through an SD card reader.

I peruse the videos shot by my iPod hidden camera DVR dock station when I am at the house, or I get my mommy to drop in and do it for me. That is how I have come to keep my housekeeper all these years, who has yet to do anything terrible with my things.
